Tricia Clough, Principal

I was born in Germany and lived there for seven years before moving to the United States with my family. After a short stay in Texas, we moved to Colorado when I was eight and have been here ever since. I love it here with our blue sky and majestic mountains!

I began my teaching career in D20 at Frontier Elementary School in 2001. I have had the pleasure of teaching first grade as well as being a reading interventionist and MTSS Coordinator prior to becoming the assistant principal at Ranch Creek Elementary in 2016.

My husband Don and I have been married since 1985 and have a daughter and son-in-law who live in Oregon. Our family loves spending time outdoors and traveling together to see new places.

Kristina Nikirk, Assistant Principal

I am a native of Colorado Springs! Colorado is the most beautiful place to call “home.” I grew up camping every summer and enjoying day trips with my parents and sisters. My husband is also a native, and we continue to enjoy family adventures with our daughter (soon to be a Mustang) and our Labrador Retriever. We love to camp, fish, do crafts and projects, eat yummy food, and enjoy our endless view of the Front Range.

After graduating from UCCS with my bachelor's degree, I started my career as a first grade teacher in D49. I spent 17 years in D3, teaching Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and Title I interventions. During this time, I received my master's degree with certificates in literacy and administration.

I moved to Ranch Creek in 2022 as the Dean of Students. I now have the honor and privilege of serving as Assistant Principal.
